Ogier fightback

After a SS6 spin and puncture gifted Evans a 20-second Rally Monte-Carlo lead, Ogier clawed back a huge 16s on Friday's final stage. Barring his 30s time loss on SS6, Ogier has had a perfect day taking five stage wins.

More Mikkelsen magic

WRC 2 positions remain as they were at the start of Friday's second loop. A sixth-fastest overall time on SS6 reiterated Mikkelsen's ability in the wet conditions. He finished the 20 km test just 15s behind stage winner Evans.

While quantity may be lacking on Rally Monte-Carlo's penultimate day the quality of action will not disappoint. Forecasts suggest snow will be falling as Evans tries to keep a charging Ogier at bay on Saturday.
