Breen and Nagle claim second Sanremo victory

Craig Breen and Paul Nagle have won Rally Sanremo by 4.8s from Andrea Crugnola. Three stage wins from eight was enough for the Hyundai crew to claim their second victory on Rally Sanremo in three years.

Close competition
Only 3.6s separated the top four crews after Rally Sanremo's fourth stage. Fabio Andolfi led the rally before Andrea Crugnola jumped into first on SS5. Breen then went fastest by 5.1s on the next test to secure a lead he wouldn't lose.

Early bath for Solberg
Hyundai's Oliver Solberg and Aaron Johnston only managed three Rally Sanremo stages after running wide and losing their left-rear wheel. The pair had set a fourth-fastest time on Saturday's opening 11.7 km stage in their i20 R5.
