Armstrong aims for strong JWRC start in Croatia

Jon Armstrong is leaving no stone unturned as he returns to World Rally Championship action on Rally Croatia. The asphalt event takes place during the last weekend in April and is the first of five Junior WRC rounds in 2021.

Coronavirus put a halt to Armstrong’s JWRC campaign last year but with fresh support from Codemasters, the makers of DiRT Rally, 2021 is set to be the 26-year-old’s biggest year of rallying since his fruitful world campaign in 2016.
Ready to race
“I am really buzzing to be making my return to the world stage,” exclaimed Armstrong. "I am doing everything I can to prepare myself the best possible, it’s all about thinking of the bigger picture.”

Valuable testing
Armstrong and co-driver Phil Hall tested a Ford Fiesta R2 in Wales at the start of April. It was an important day getting miles under their belt together. The tarmac test let the Brits trial different set-ups ahead of Rally Croatia.

Follow the action
Rally Croatia will make its WRC debut on 22-25 April. Shakedown gets the action underway on Thursday morning before a total of 20 timed stages from Friday to Sunday. There will be regular updates on Armstrong’s Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram channels through the rally.
