Rally Japan

Rally Japan is back and will provide a fitting finale for a much-changed World Rally Championship itinerary in 2021.

The WRC last visited Japan in 2010 and its return brings with it a new location and a switch from gravel to asphalt stages.

Nagoya will host the WRC’s best in November with the hope of luring the millions of locals out to see stars such as Japan’s very own Takamoto Katsuta.

Sebastien Ogier won the last Rally Japan in 2010 in his Citroen C4 WRC. Mikko Hirvonen was the only driver who could win the event more than once when it hosted the WRC between 2004 and 2010.

One can only hope the coronavirus pandemic will have cleared off in time so the world championship can enjoy everything the WRC’s return to Japan offers.
