Dates unveiled for 2025 Motorsport Ireland rally calendar

The Galway International Rally will open Ireland’s latest season of rallying on 1 February, marking the first round of the Irish Tarmac Rally Championship’s international, modified, and junior series.

The two-day asphalt event is the first of 24 rallies on Motorsport Ireland’s 2025 rally calendar.

The Irish Tarmac Rally Championship’s calendar remains unchanged with the Cork 20 Rally set to return to a two-day format for the series’ finale.

The National Rally Championship starts in March with the Midland Moto Stages Rally. Skibbereen’s Fastnet Stages Rally will conclude the eight-round championship at the end of October.

There are big changes to the Forest Rally Championship as Carlow and Mayo will host a round each in the championship for the first time. The Donegal Forest Rally returns for the first time in six years, kicking the eight-round series off in February.
